It is with sadness to inform you of the death of Addie Wright, Mother of Renay Wright. Addie passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her home at the age of 88 years. She was born in Laurel, Mississippi, and lived part of her early years in Monroe, Louisiana.
Addie was quite accomplished as Editor and Owner of Hinds County News. She also worked diligently to make Terry a better place by serving on various committees and contributing to the community. The funeral was held January 22 at Chancellor Funeral Home with interment at the Town of Terry Cemetery. She will be missed.
