Raymond High School sophomore, Makayla Ware, is a competitive dancer and honors student at Raymond High School. She has been dancing with Lindsey Claire Dance Company since she was 3 years old and has been part of their Movement Competition team for 6 years. Makayla loves all forms of dance, however her favorite genre is jazz.
Makayla enjoys assisting with the younger students in weekly recreational classes. Most recently, Makayla had the privilege of being featured in "Art in Movement Magazine" with photographer Alisha Hudman. This opportunity opened her eyes to a new adventure she hopes to explore more.
Away from dance, Makayla is part of the Crown Club with the Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry. Makayla is looking forward to her part in this year's Nutcracker production as "The Arabian Princess."
