R by Kara Culp Greetings from New Orleans, Louisiana! To kick off Spring Break week, Robert and I loaded up the kids in the minivan and headed south to one of our favorite cities for a couple days. Our children have been going to New Orleans since they were babies and look forward to it just as much as we do. Audubon Park has become a family favorite spot where we all play and enjoy the canopies of Spanish moss. There’s really no other place like it. But, after a couple days of non-stop adventure, we are all ready to come home to Raymond. It sure is fun to be in the memory making business! Spring break fun continued for John and Mary Etta Naftel as they enjoyed a weekend visit from their granddaughter Meghan Boyd of Buford, Georgia. Meghan is a junior at Point University in West Point, “Mount up boys Georgia. While in Raymond, Meghan spent time with Luke, Deborah, Ginny Mae, Charleigh, Helen, and at the Luke Purvis home John Luke Purvis; Jerry where she visited with Agent; and Beth and Naomi Barnette, Dale Buckley. Quentin Brewer (of She went fishing Oxford, Mississippi), with “Papa John.” She Aubrey Brock, Jacob also was in town for the Wright and other Purvis “Second Sunday” lunch relatives.
