Ruth Ann Osborn, 79, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born in 1931 and was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church where she faithfully played the organ and piano for many years.

Mrs. Osborn received a Master's Degree in education from Mississippi College, then taught at Rebul Academy for many years while also drawing house plans for an untold number of families. Upon retiring from teaching, she joined the family home building business. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, music and antiquing. She fiercely loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Eugene "Dickie" Osborn; her three daughters, Gina Osborn Sabine (Sammy), Crissy Osborn Parker (Barry), and Brenda Ruth Middleton (Ron); five grandchildren, Blake Sabine, Miles Sabine, Morgan Parker, Gavin Parker, and Bella Ruth Middleton; and her three great-grandchildren, Cameron Sabine, Jaxton Neader Sabine, and Asher Curro; her sisters, Peggy Gates (Bruce), Susan Daughety (Jimmy) and Ruby Lynn Smith (David); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, J. E. Carter; her mother, Ruby Jackson Carter; and grandson, Benjamin Osborn Sabine.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Salem Baptist Church located at 2666 Learned Road, Raymond, MS, followed by burial in the Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers were sons-in-law Sammy Sabine, Barry Parker, and Ron Middleton; grandsons Blake Sabine and Gavin Parker; and long-time family friend Bill Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers were Deacons John Smith and Carey Downey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Salem Cemetery Fund or the Dementia Society of America.
