The Senior Health Council of Terry continues bingo for senior citizens and Terry residents every second Thursday of every month at 11 o'clock. The location is the Terry Community Center. Refreshments served.

The Knights of Columbus and the Copiah Chapter of MSSDAR recently honored veterans by placing flags on graves at the Crystal Springs City Cemetery.

On Thursday, September 3rd the Terry High School Varsity team will play Canton High School at 7 pm at THS.

If you're in the Crystal Springs area - stop by the C and B Peanut stand. It is right off the Hwy 55 exit. The peanuts are among the first of the season, locally grown and boiled. Absolutely delicious!

The James Foster Chapter of MSSDAR held the first meeting for the 2026-2027 year at the Old Capitol Inn. A lovely luncheon was enjoyed by all attendees. Cynthia McNamara was guest speaker and conducted the installation of new officers that include: Rooney Davis, Linda Harris, Kathryn Lee, Charlene Bullock, Judy Fortenberry, Bette Poole, Carolyn Clements, Amanda Milam, Kathy Henry and Martha Ferguson. Guests included: Shana Fondren, Tabatha Johnson and Beth Batton.

Terry Police Chief Smith reminds us of National Night Out in Terry starting at 5 pm on Sept 3. The public is invited to attend.
