The committee that worked Sat. morning to help clean up areas of the town are to be commended. It was spearheaded by Rev. Taylor and Joyce Wallace. Thank you for your endeavors!!

The "Joy Night" on Friday evening at First Baptist Church, Terry was so enjoyable. It was nice to be the guest of Paula and Edwina Shelby. The pianist and guest speaker were entertaining and interesting. The food was delicious and the "goodie bags" were filled for every guest. The bag contained an outdoor apron, gloves and trowel set for gardening. This will come in handy once the weather cools down and, hopefully, rain prevails.

Sadly, Sharon Hensarling passed away on Sept 13th. Her passing was sudden even though she had battled with cancer for a long period. Sharon was an avid deer hunter that loved to fish and be outdoors with the birds. She loved cooking for her family that she loved dearly. Sharon had worked in the medical field. She and Perry Gene Hensarling were married for 41 years before his passing in 2021. Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram is in charge of the visitation and memorial service. Interment will be in Madison at Natchez Trace Cemetery. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

The Friends of Terry will present "Tangled in Tensil" October 23, 24 and 30, 31. Tickets are $30 including dinner. For tickets, please call Sandra Frith.

Homecoming was at Terry High School Friday evening. The opposing team, Callaway High School of Jackson did win by only one point. The homecoming court looked beautiful in formal wear. Pictures were taken on the grounds and porch before the game. Beautiful sight!

James Foster Chapter of MSSDAR, Terry is attempting to locate all veteran graves in the town cemeteries. There is no list available at City Hall or elsewhere.
