First Baptist Church, Terry GAs and RAs had a good time at the home of Jo and David Hester. It was the finale of their manners class.
Monty Wilson is currently serving as President and Treasurer of the Terry Lions Club. He is also serving as 2nd District Vice Governor for District 30S in South Ms. Congratulations to Monty! He is hard working and highly dependable.
The James Foster MSSDAR had a wonderful meeting and luncheon at Old Capitol Inn. Gail Cornell from Hazlehurst presented a program on Historic Preservation. She and her husband own the historic Covington House in Hazlehurst they lovingly restored. Gail also teaches in the graduate program of Historic Preservation at MSU. There was an over flowing group of members with Roony Davis and Carolyn Clements from Terry in attendance.
Jo and David Hester enjoyed a trip to Columbus to see Mr. and Mrs. Bob Manning, Jo's sister and brother-in-law. They enjoyed a baseball game at MSU.
It is with sorrow to inform you of the death of Anse Gerald McDonald that passed away at his home in Terry on March 22nd. He owned a sand and gravel business. Gerald was the son of Sammy and Grace McDonald. We extend our sincere sympathy to his family.
