The Terry Woman's Club members enjoyed the Annual Luncheon at Old Capitol Inn in Jackson on Thursday. Officers were installed for the incoming year. Meetings will resume in Sept. Happy Summer!

It is with sadness to inform the death of Barbara McDonald Ball of Terry. She was a graduate of Terry High School Class of 1953. Barbara received many honors and was well liked by everyone. She was living at Riggs Manor this past year. Services were Thursday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with interment at Terry Cemetery. We extend our sympathies to Mark (son) and the McDonald/Ball families. Mr Dewey (Father) and my father were life long friends. Barbara will be missed.

The Friends of Terry will present "Dearly Departed" on two upcoming weekends in June 5-6 and 12-13. Dinner is included. Call Sandy Frith 601.954.3696 for tickets and more information.

It won't be long until Crystal Springs tomatoes will be ready. I asked a friend to let me know when the first ones are rippened. Rutledge Farms, out from Crystal Springs, usually has tomatoes very early in the season. It's always a pleasure to visit their farm since they have other fresh grown vegetables available as well. 'Bout that time!!
